Teachers from around the district have selected 26 of their peers for special recognition. 

The district recently announced its 2013-2014 Teachers of the Year. The 26 teachers recognized are all in the running for the district's Teacher of the Year award.

The district's 2013-2014 Teacher of the Year will be named later this year.  

Darleen Sutton, the School District of Pickens County's 2012-2013 Teacher of the Year, was named South Carolina's Teacher of the Year. 

Pickens Elementary School threw Sutton a parade to welcome her back home after her award. Check out the pictures!
