Coroner Identifies Bodies Found in Hotel

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley has released the names of the two people found dead in an Easley hotel room in an apparent murder-suicide.

Kelley said Cristy Ingram, 39, of 105 Cades Drive, Piedmont, and Robert McPeak, Sr., 77, of Joe Dunn Road, Iva, were both pronounced dead at the scene Saturday.

The two were found inside a room at Sun Inn on Highway 123, Kelley said. 

Both had been shot, she said. 

Kelley said autopsies and toxicologies will be performed on Monday.

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
