Coyote Coffee Throwing Block Party Saturday
Birthday celebration features live music and door prizes.

Coyote Coffee is celebrating its fourth birthday and to mark the occasion, it and other area businesses are throwing a party.
The Block Party kicks off at 3pm and runs until 7pm, according to Tunckie LeCroy, owner of Coyote Coffee.
“It's really to support small business,” LeCroy said.

The party will feature live music, free cake and door prizes.
“We have tons of door prizes,” she said. “Free massages, free Sunday brunch at the Westin Poinsett, all kinds of things.

Those who have donated door prizes include Cobbs Glen Golf Course, Greenville Drive, Cherokee Valley, Sheer Hospitality Salon & Spa, Westin Poinsett, ABC's & 123's, New York Life, Spa by Cheri, Allbright & Associates, Survival Bracelets and more.
Coyote Coffee's neighbors are joining the party, too.
“Subway is going to do $5 footlong sandwiches,” LeCroy said. “The UPS store is doing a ton of specials on shipping and copies that day.” The UPS Store is celebrating 17 years in business.
Upstate School Spirit, Purple Purse Obsessions, Skins Hot Dogs, CertusBank and Paper Party Place are joining the party too with offers, signups and specials.
Sam's Club will be at the party, signing people up for Sam's Club memberships.
“If you sign up for a members, you'll get a $20 Sam's Club gift card,” LeCroy said.
Make purchases from the vendors or visit their booths to receive tickets for the door prizes.
“We'll have face painting, little hair extensions, a bounce house,” LeCroy said. “We'll have someone out here doing free child ID kits. We have a lady that hand makes jewelry.”
The Easley Fire Department will have one of its fire engines onhand from 3pm – 6pm for kids to explore. The Easley Police Department will have one of its patrol cars for kids to see.
“It's going to be kind of kid-driven,” LeCroy said. “There'll be a lot to do for the whole family, really.”
She's grateful for the support for the Block Party.
“A lot of people have donated and that's been fabulous,” LeCroy said. “I think it's awesome that small businesses work together.”
Coyote Coffee is located at 1035 S. Pendleton Street.
