Dacusville Murder Suspect in Court Today

Suzanna Brown Simpson charged with murdering her two children and attempting to kill her husband.

The Dacusville woman suspected of killing her daughter and son and attempting to kill her husband will be in court this morning.

Suzanna Brown Simpson was released yesterday afternoon from the hospital where she was being treated for injuries.

Simpson will appear in front of a Pickens County Magistrate at 10am this morning to be arraigned on criminal charges, according to Chief Deputy Creed Hashe.

She is . She also faces a weapons charge in connection with the shootings.

911 calls received the morning of Tuesday, May 14 following a single-vehicle accident on Cherokee Trail led to the discovery of the children's bodies in the Simpson home, as well as the discovery of Michael Simpson, who had been critically injured.

Michael Simpson remains hospitalized.  

Now that she’s been released from the hospital, Simpson is being held at the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility, Hashe said.
