Dacusville Murder Suspect Transferred Back to Pickens County

Double Murder Suspect Suzanna Brown Simpson Transferred back to the Pickens County Sheriff’s Detention Facility

Suzanna Brown Simpson was transferred back to the custody of Pickens County on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 where she will remain in the Sheriff’s Detention Facility with no opportunity for bond pending trial.

Simpson had been temporarily transferred to the custody of the Greenville County Detention Center pursuant to a request from the 13th Circuit Public Defender’s Office. She was transported and turned over to the Greenville authorities on June 6, 2013 until at which time she could recover from injuries sustained in a one vehicle wreck.

The wreck occurred on the morning of the fatal shootings which were reported on May 14, 2013 at 307 Cherokee Trail within the Dacusville community.

There is no information available on any court dates or proceedings which may not be scheduled for several months.
