Playhouse will open up this low-cost ticket program to all patrons. How can the theatre afford to offer live theatre for only $10 per ticket you might ask?

Most theatres have seats somewhere that don’t get sold by curtain time. “We usually have them in our mezzanine area,” says Maurice Reed, president of the Easley Foothills Playhouse board of directors.

“We thought; why not sell those seats at a lower cost during the last 15 minutes before the show? We make a bit of money on those seats, get more patrons into the house and introduce them to live theatre. It’s a win-win.”

You can also get a season membership of six tickets at Easley Foothills Playhouse for less than the price of five tickets to use for any of the shows you wish.

In addition, you can buy individual tickets at regular prices and reserve your seats. Or you can come to the theatre with cash in hand 15 minutes before the show any night and get special reserved seating in the mezzanine area of the theatre for just $10 per ticket.
