Easley Man Dies at Lake Keowee Sunday

Authorities are investigating the death of a 35-year-old man from Easley on Lake Keowee Sunday afternoon.

Divers recovered the body of Charles David Kenney, of 115 Gadwell Drive, Easley, was recovered Sunday afternoon around 5:30pm, according to the Anderson Independent Mail.

Kenney fell from a boat near Fall Creek Falls after apparently suffering a seizure around 4pm Sunday.

911 was called when Kenney failed to surface.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is investigating. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis said an autopsy will be performed.
