"Expeditions with Patrick McMillan" Host WIns Emmy

Southeast chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences recognizes McMillan.

“Expeditions with Patrick McMillan” host Patrick McMillan won the Emmy award for excellence as on-camera talent in competition by the Southeast chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
 
The Emmy competition is the most prestigious in television and video production. Competitors included hosts of three commercial network television shows.

The Clemson nature series “Expeditions with Patrick McMillan” began in 2007 and has been nominated for 10 Emmy awards. The 30-minute weekly TV show is produced by Clemson University Video Production Services and airs on SC-ETV as well as on Public Broadcasting System (PBS) affiliates across the U.S.

The 13-part series showcases wildlife and wilderness footage with explanations by naturalist Patrick McMillan as he ventures through gorges, immense seas of grass, deciduous forests, Arctic tundra and other ecologically rich destinations in North and South America
