Flapjack Fundraiser to Benefit Easley High Football Program

Proceeds from Sept. 14 fundraiser will help team raise money for equipment

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to support the Easley High School Football Team as they host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, September 14, 2013. All proceeds raised will go toward purchasing necessary equipment required for the team to succeed in the upcoming 2013-2014 season.

“We are excited to partner with the Easley High School Football Team as they venture into a new football season,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “Let’s cheer on these athletes as they host a Flapjack Fundraiser on September 14.”

The Easley High School Football Flapjack Fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 5055 Calhoun Memorial Hwy., Easley, SC, starting at 7:30 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $5 and can be purchased by contacting Toshia Leisten at (864) 449-4597. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.

Applebee’s is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent one of the company’s efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
