Flapjack Fundraiser to Benefit the American Cancer Society

Enjoy breakfast on June 15, with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to partner with the Pickens County Relay for Life team to host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, June 15, 2013. All proceeds raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

“Apple Gold is always honored to help support the American Cancer Society through fundraising events,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “We hope to see new and returning faces on June 15 as we join together for a great cause.”

The Relay for Life fundraiser will be hosted by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 5055 Calhoun Memorial Highway, Easley, SC, starting at 7:30 a.m. Tickets for the Flapjack Fundraiser are $7 and can be purchased by contacting Elizabeth Tilley at (864) 609-7963. Breakfast includes a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.

Applebee’s is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal.
