The Greenville Drive will host a special screening of “The Sandlot” in honor of the film’s twentieth anniversary.

The film is being shown at ballparks across the country as part of its anniversary.
The movie is the story of Scotty Smalls, a boy who has trouble connecting with other kids his age and with his new stepfather. A neighborhood baseball star takes Smalls under his wing and things begin to change.

The movie’s got pretty much everything: great baseball games, an awesome treehouse, lots of laughs, young romance and a giant dog.
The movie will be shown following The Greenville Drive’s 4pm game Sunday afternoon.
David Mickey Evans, who wrote, directed and narrated the film, will introduce the movie and will answer questions, pose for photos and sign autographs following the screening.
Tickets are $6-$10 and include both the game and the “Sandlot” screening.
