Golf Tournament to Benefit Cannon Memorial Hospital Auxiliary
Tourney will be held August 3.

Cannon Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary is gearing up for its annual benefit golf tournament to be held at The Rock on Saturday, August 3rd with an 8:30am shotgun start. This year’s tournament is sponsored by Progressive Builders. All of the proceeds from this “Rise and Shine” tournament are going toward upcoming hospital projects such as renovations, etc.
Last year’s tournament raised over $8,000 which went toward the Auxiliary’s pledge of $36,000 for the purchase of a new dishwasher for the hospital cafeteria.
This year’s tournament is open to all golfers with a registration fee of $75.00 per player. The price includes breakfast and lunch donated by Bojangles of Pickens, green and cart fees, range balls, beverage and snack service throughout the tournament, door prizes and golfer gift bags. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. We will have competitions and games such as longest drive, closets to the pin, putting contest, and a $1,000 cash prize hole in one sponsored by Thompson and Denton Law Firm. Also, participants in the golf tournament can play another round of golf after lunch for only $10.
For more information on sponsorships or to register contact Steven Evans at 898-1252 or sevans@cmhsc.org or Amanda Cooper at 898-1334 or acooper@cmhsc.org.
