During each year’s Green and White Game, an award is given to a volunteer in memory of the late Steve Westmoreland.

The award is given to someone who exhibits qualities Westmoreland himself was known for, Carter said.

“Leadership, dedication, enthusiasm, spirit and a love of all Easley High School sports,” Carter said.

Stan Albertson is the recipient of this year’s Steve Westmoreland award.

“Thank you to Mr. Albertson and all the volunteers from the Easley High Booster Club who make all the Friday nights possible, who donate their time and energy to help serve the kids of the Easley High School athletic program,” Carter said.
