Two people are dead after a shooting on Cherokee Trail in Dacusville this morning.
Creed Hashe, Chief Deputy with the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, says two others have been hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries.Â

One of those hospitalized is believed to be the shooter, Hashe said.Â
The four people involved in the shooting are related, Hashe said.Â

The shooting victims were found after responders came to the scene of a wreck around 6 a.m., just off the roadway on Cherokee Trail. The vehicle was registered to the home on Cherokee Trail, not far from Dacusville Elementary School, Hashe said.Â
Deputies found the victims while seeking more information on the wreck. The deceased were pronounced dead at the scene.Â

The Sheriff's Office is expected to hold a press conference between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Pickens County spokesman Creed Hashe said the number of people involved in this morning's incident has not been released.
More information should be released later today.

Coroner still at scene of Cherokee Trail homicide. Investigators have road blocked at Catawba Drive.
Deputies have set up the mobile command center at the scene.
Multiple deaths have been reported.

Pickens County deputies are investigating a homicide and a wreck near Dacusville Tuesday morning.
According to Fox Carolina News, Pickens County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Creed Hashe said there is no threat to the community. One person is reportedly dead and another injured.
