Labor Day Weekend in Anderson County to Feature Cycling, Music and More
The 2013 Celebrate Anderson Weekend will include the 5th annual Tour de La France, Criterium, Circuit Races and culminate with the 15th annual Celebrate Anderson concert on Sunday evening, September 1.

Beginning Saturday, August 31st, Anderson County’s streets will once again fill with cyclists of all ages and abilities. The 2013 Celebrate Anderson Weekend will include the 5th annual Tour de La France, Criterium, Circuit Races and culminate with the 15th annual Celebrate Anderson concert on Sunday evening, September 1.
“Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or haven’t been on your bike in years, you will enjoy the fun and excitement of the 5th Annual Tour de La France,” said Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns. “If you want to see pure adrenaline on the streets of Anderson County, come out. Celebrate Anderson has the capability of growing into a premier cycling destination. This year, we are excited to incorporate the nearly completed and long awaited East-West Connector into our rides and races. I encourage everyone to come out and spend Labor Day Weekend celebrating the best Anderson County has to offer. Tell your neighbors and friends to join us as we CELEBRATE ANDERSON!”

City of Anderson Buses will provide free transportation to and from the event. Pickups every 30 minutes from each location

Westside Community Center. Return transportation will take place after the fireworks.
