Library to Offer Storytime Geared Toward Special Needs Children

First storytime will be offered Monday, September 9.

Join us, starting in September, for Storytime on the Spectrum, a monthly, evening storytime geared towards children with special needs and their families. Parents, children, and other caregivers can listen to stories, play games, and create simple arts and crafts projects.

Join us at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley on Monday, September 9th at 6:30 pm, when our theme will be, “Making New Friends”. Join us again on Monday, October 7th at 6:30pm, when our theme will be, “Frightfully Silly Stories”. These storytimes are made possible by a grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation.

Library programs are free and open to all. For more information, please call the library at 850-7077 or email reference@pickens.lib.sc.us.
