Man Wanted for Threats Against College Campuses Turns Himself In
Robert Ivester allegedly threatened to "go to a campus campus and cause death."

A man sought by police after allegedly threatening to kill people on area college campuses has turned himself in.
An alert went out yesterday afternoon urging people to be on the look out for Robert Ivester, 23.

Investigators say that Ivester, who was wanted on forgery charges in Oconee County, had threatened to “"kill himself and other people, as well as going to a college campus and causing death,” before he would allow himself to be arrested.
Alerts went out to several area colleges, including Clemson University, Southern Wesleyan University and Anderson University, urging all to call authorities if they spotted Ivester on campus.

The Associated Press reports that Ivester turned himself into police without incident.
The alerts at the schools have been dropped, the AP reports.
