
Sgt. Matthew Henry Kistler, USMC, 25, of Cherry Point, N.C., died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Camp Lejeune.
Born September 29, 1987 in Winter Park, Fla., he was the son of Derek Kistler and Brenda Stinnett of Easley. He graduated from Apopka High School in 2006 and served his country in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In addition to his mother and father, Sgt. Kistler is survived by his daughter, Hadley Carolyn Kistler; grandparents, Ruth and Keith Kistler and Carolyn Taylor and Guy Stinnett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Lt. Brian J. Arant, CHC, USN officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:45 a.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
