Southern Wesleyan University students celebrate beginning of fall semester

Southern Wesleyan University students Parker Thompson and Kristina Smith handed out competition Frisbees to students during “Party at the Square” Aug. 19 on the campus in Central. Thompson is a senior music major from Walhalla and Smith is a junior from Wisconsin majoring in psychology. Students picked up various “freebies” and registered for prize giveaways while learning about area businesses and organizations. Area restaurants were also on hand to give students a taste of dining options in the area.
