Pickens threw a party on Main Street this morning as Fox Carolina brought its "Celebrate the Carolinas" tour to town.
Pickens officials shared with anchor Joe Gagnon a number of things happening in the town from the city's new amphitheater to the Turtles on the Town trail to a mini-demonstration of the flow coaster that will be built at Town Creek Park.
Mayor David Owens presented "The American Baking Competition" finalist Francine Bryson, a Pickens resident, with a Letter of Appreciation.
