Rain Cancels The Tams' Concert, Fireworks

Rain has forced the cancellation of several events planned at the new amphitheater in Pickens.

A cruise-in, fireworks show and two concerts, including a show by beach music legends The Tams have been called off.

According to Russ Gantt with the Pickens Azalea Festival, rain last night and today have caused the amphitheater and Bruce Field, where the fireworks were to be show off, to become too soggy to host the events.
