Religion: Services to Mark Holy Week in Easley

Easter Sunday is just a few days away and several churches in the area have planned special services.

We have compiled a list of Good Friday and Sunrise services that we know of this week.

March 29 — Good Friday

St. Matthias Lutheran Church will hold a Good Friday service at 7 p.m.

St. Michael's Episcopal Church will hold Good Friday services at noon; a Stations of the Cross service will be held at 7 p.m.

Siloam Baptist will hold Good Friday service at 6 p.m.

Easley First United Methodist Church will hold Good Friday services at 7:30 p.m.

March 30 — Egg Hunts, Vigils

St. Michael's Episcopal Church will hold an Easter vigil at 7 p.m.

Siloam Baptist will hold an Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Easley First United Methodist Church will hold a Easter Prayer Friday beginning Good Friday evening and running through Easter Sunday

March 31 — Easter Services

St. Matthias Lutheran Church will hold a Easter services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Easley First Baptist Church will hold Easter serices at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Rock Springs Baptist Church will hold a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Easter worship will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Easter music will be performed at a 6 p.m. worship service.

United Wesleyan will present an Easter musical "O, What A Savior" at 11 a.m.

Siloam Baptist will hold an Easter celebration at 10:45 a.m.

Mt. Airy Baptist Church will hold Easter services at 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Easley First United Methodist Church will hold Easter services at 8:40 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Brushy Creek Baptist Church will hold Easter services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Easley Presbyterian Church's services begin at 9am.
