Six Mile Man Dies in Car Wreck

A Six Mile man died Monday in Pickens after losing control of his vehicle.

James William Keith Horn, of 132 Griggs Road, Six Mile, died after the accident, Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley said.

Horn was traveling on Highway 133 in Pickens at 4:01pm Monday at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred, Kelley said.

He lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle.

Horn died at Cannon Memorial Hospital following the accident, Kelley said.

An autopsy will be performed at Greenville Memorial Hospital, she said.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
