Learn how to make your own video games using Microsoft Kodu Game Lab, a visually based, 3D game design tool. The game design process will be broken into seven parts: Goals, Rules, Assets, Spaces, Play Mechanics, Scoring Systems and Narrative. By thinking of games in terms of these parts, you’ll learn more easily to think about how to design fun, engaging games. You’ll do hands-on learning activities to Play-Fix-Create. You’ll then be ready to create your own game using and building on the knowledge gained from each lesson activity.

Cake Boss for Kids is set for June 17 – 20, Monday – Thursday, 1 – 5 p.m. at the Anderson Campus.
