Southeast Beats Southwest in 2nd Day of Series

Southwest falls to Greenville District 7, who are representing the Southeast in this year's Big League World Series.

Greenville District 7 (see roster below) have earned their first win in the 2013 Big League World Series.

The team beat the Southwest 12-2 in the second day of play.

District 7 is representing the Southeast after winning the regional tournament and earning a spot in this year's Big League World Series.

Though Southwest was the first to score, thanks to a homer from Marshall Kasowski, Southeast came roaring back, scoring 10 runs in the fourth inning.

Southwest added another run in the fifth, but so did Southeast.

Southwest plays East at 4pm tomorrow.

Southeast plays West at 7:30pm tomorrow evening.
