Southern Wesleyan University Preparing Leaders

SWU hosts leadership symposium.

The Southern Wesleyan University School of Education hosted a three-day leadership symposium for Upstate education leaders July 10-12, focusing on using the ConneXions model and employing it to do the work of curriculum design. Robert Walter, right, facilitator for last year’s symposium, shares thoughts with SWU business professors Debra Eischen, left, and Laura Timmerman before the start of a session at The Founders, on the university’s campus in Central.

In the background is Bryant McLendon and Jeannie Trudel, who is dean of the SWU School of Business. Walter is an international leadership development expert from LeaderSource SGA (www.leadersource.org).

Southern Wesleyan University is a Christ-centered, student-focused learning community devoted to transforming lives by challenging students to be dedicated scholars and servant-leaders who impact the world for Christ.
