Students Show Off Science Skills

Experiments and research recognized at Elementary Science Fair.

Area elementary school students recently combined curiosity with the scientific method and showed off the results of their experiments and research.

The school district recently held an Elementary School Science Fair.

45 students from seven schools -  Crosswell Elementary, Dacusville Elementary, Clemson Elementary, Chastain Road Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Six Mile Elementary and  East End Elementary – took part in the district’s science fair, which was hosted at the Pickens County Career & Technology Center.

The fourth and fifth graders placed in their individual schools’ science fairs, earning them a spot at the district-wide fair.

Jordan McCoy-Bruce from Dacusville Elementary took first place in the science fair.

Second place was a tie between Benjamin Branham from East End Elementary and Jordan King from Six Mile Elementary.

Olivia Wilson from Dacusvillle Elementary won third place.
