Superintendent Dr. Kelly Pew said there's a real sense of urgency regarding the decision about Easley's middle schools.
She said it's important that, whatever. Is decided about Easley's second middle school, time is of the essence to ensure Brice Middle School is ready for students and that the district does not incurs additional costs.
Many in Easley have encouraged district officials to find a way to provide two middle schools in Easley through the renovation of Gettys Middle School.
