Walk/Bike-a-thon Postponed Until Thursday

With the strong thunderstorms planned for today, the Foundation has re-scheduled the 2nd Annual Walk/Bike-a-thon to Thursday, April 25 from 6-8 pm at the new Easley High School.

According to the Baptist Easley Hospital Foundation, all of the event's partners have agreed to come on on Thursday, including the fire truck, smoke house, police car, drug dog, GHS helicopter, ambulance and Humvee.

The event will feature displays from area organizations, including the YMCA of Easley, Safe Kids, Sam’s Club, Paper Party Place, Combined Utilities (food station), Roger C. Peace Hospital (water station) and inflatables/snow cones/cotton candy provided by Piedmont Baptist Association.

Parents and children should arrive at Easley High School on Thursday, April 25th by 5:15 PM to register, pick-up backpacks and get ready to walk or ride starting promptly at 6 PM.

The event will conclude at 8 PM.
