Wild Hog Control Seminar Set for May 1

USDA Wildlife Services officials will offer information on dealing with wild hogs on your land.

Wild Hog populations have seen a dramatic increase in recent years and subsequently cause tens of millions of dollars of damage annually to agricultural, natural and other areas. Wild hogs also threaten domestic livestock with spread of disease. They reproduce prodigiously, outcompete and destroy habitat for many native plants and animals.Steve Newtorn with Anderson County government said the wild hog problem is pretty bad all along the Saluda River.

Easley and Powdersville residents may want to attend an upcoming event on the issue.
