Witnesses Sought in Gayle McCaffrey Case

Charleston County detectives are still searching for witnesses in a missing person's case. The search for Gayle McCaffrey brought them to Easley last year to search property belonging to her husband Robert McCaffrey, who has been listed as a suspec

A year after a West Ashley woman went missing, Charleston County Detectives announced Sunday they are seeking people who may have seen a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck or dark blue Jeep Cherokee in the early morning hours of March 18, 2012, in the area surrounding Bee’s Ferry Road and Highway 61.

The vehicles belong to the missing woman, Gayle McCaffrey, and her husband Robert McCaffrey, who has been listed a suspect in his wife's disappearance. 

Gayle McCaffrey, a 5-foot, 2-inch, and 155-pound white woman, was reported missing from her residence, by her husband on March 18, 2012. Robert McCaffrey told deputies that he last saw her on March 17, 2012 around 10 p.m. before he left the residence to travel to Easley.

McCaffrey has not been seen or heard from since being reported missing.
