Wren Middle Musicians Receive Superior Ratings at Festival
Students recently performed at Solo & Ensemble Festival.

Wren Middle School students received superior ratings at Solo & Ensemble Festival in Anderson on Friday, April 26.
Each year the South Carolina Band Directors Association (SCBDA) hosts a Solo & Ensemble Festival. This is an opportunity for students to perform solos or in small groups called ensembles. Student performances are rated from I-Superior, II-Excellent, III-Good, IV-Fair, to V-poor.

Students earning Superior (I) and Excellent (II) ratings will receive certificates from the SCBDA. Students earning the highest rating of Superior (I) will receive medals.
This year Wren Middle school earned Superiors (I) in 33 events and Excellents (II) in 12 events.
