2 Dead In Shooting At South Carolina Manufacturing Plant: Police
A former employee shot two people before shooting himself at Frankische in Anderson County on Tuesday night, authorities say.

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC — Two people were killed, including the gunman, in a shooting at a manufacturing plant in Anderson County on Tuesday night, an Anderson County Sheriff's Office spokesperson confirmed to Patch.
Two victims suffered injuries from the shooting. One later died from his injuries, and one suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital by car. The gunman shot himself, according to the spokesperson.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. at Frankische USA LP on AM Ellison Road.

Authorities told WYFF they believed the shooter was a former employee, but no motive is known.
Authorities cleared the plant, and employees of the facility were driven by bus to a secure area to be interviewed and receive medical attention.

Frankische designs, manufactures and markets pipe systems for drainage, electrical, building technology, automotive and industrial applications, according to its website. The family-owned company is based in Bayern, Germany.
The Anderson location is one of two Frankische facilities in the United States, with the other in Michigan.
