Anderson Woman Wins $300K In South Carolina Lottery
The unidentified woman won the money on a scratch off lottery ticket and drove to Columbia right away to claim her winnings.
ANDERSON, SC — A woman from Anderson recently got a pleasant surprise in the form of a $300,000 winning scratch off.
The woman, who requested to remain unidentified, bought the scratch off from the Bright Mart Exxon on South Main Street in Anderson, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery. The convenience store received a $3,000 commission for selling the ticket.
It was the last top prize available for the $300,000 Super Cash game, which sells tickets for $10 apiece. The woman's odds of scratching off the $300,000 prize were 1 in 900,000, according to the lottery.

After scratching off the winner, the woman immediately got in her car and drove to the claims center in Columbia, she told lottery officials.
