2nd & Charles Bookstore Opens on Harbison This Weekend
The used book store is going in the former Books-A-Million on Harbison Boulevard.
2nd & Charles, a used bookstore, will open in the former Books-A-Million on Harbison Boulevard this weekend.
The store should open Saturday, a manager said, but could open a day sooner or later.
2nd & Charles, the used bookstore concept of Birmingham-based Books-A-Million, sells and buys books, CDs, DVDs, video games and more.
Customers can fill up to three bins with items they want to sell. Store employees then evaluate the items while customers shop, according to the store's website. Customers are then offered a quote on their items at the "Buy Back" counter.
Work started to renovate the Harbison store after Books-A-Million closed in April.
