3 Men Sought in Convenience Store Burglary

Lexington County authorities are looking for three men who stole money from a convenience store near West Columbia.

Lexington County Sheriff’s Department detectives are looking for three men who broke into an El Cheapo convenience store near West Columbia. 

On March 7, three men broke into the El Cheapo at 3862 Charleston Highway and stole an undetermined amount of money from an automated teller machine, according to the sheriff's department. 

Officers responding to the burglary said two of the men used a sledge hammer to break into the ATM and another man grabbed the cash register from the counter.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday, released surveillance photos of the men who broke into the convenience store.

Anyone with information about the burglary at the convenience store or the men who broke into the convenience store is asked to call the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department at 803-785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Citizens also can provide information anonymously by accessing the Crime Tip link on the Sheriff’s Department website.
