5 Things: Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade, Santa's Market Craft Show, Festivus
Here are five events that are going on in and around Irmo this weekend.

Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade
Where: Gervais and Bull streets in downtown Columbia
When: 9:45 a.m. Saturday
Cost: Free
Info: The 58th Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade will feature dozens of floats, bands drill teams and other live performances. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.” WIS-TV will broadcast live from the parade at 10 a.m. For more information, visit the Carolina Carillon’s website. The Marching Band will be one of the featured performers. The band, which is made up of students in grades 3-5, consists of kazoo players, a color guard, majorettes, and an honor guard.

4th Annual Five Points Festivus
Where: Five Points in Columbia
When: 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
Cost: Free for Saturday and Sunday. Ticket information for the Airing of Grievances can be found here.
Info: The Five Points Association brings you its 4th Festivus celebration. The three-day event will feature a tour of 12 local bars and beer sampling on Friday all while airing your grievances. On Saturday, visit with local merchants and artists and enjoy some treats. Sunday wraps it all up with a trunk show and pictures with Santa. 31st Annual Santa’s Market Craft Show
Where:
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
Cost: Admission is free
Info: Seven Oaks Park host the 31st Annual Santa’s Market Craft Show featuring unique gifts, decorations and crafts. If you’re looking for art, hand-made jewelry, holiday wreaths and other decorations then this is where you need to be. For more information, visit Seven Oaks Park’s website.

Where: EdVenture Children’s Museum
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday
