Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade

Where: Gervais and Bull streets in downtown Columbia

Info: The 58^th Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade will feature dozens of floats, bands drill teams and other live performances. This year’s theme is “Winter Wonderland.” WIS-TV will broadcast live from the parade at 10 a.m. For more information, visit the Carolina Carillon’s website. The Marching Band will be one of the featured performers. The band, which is made up of students in grades 3-5, consists of kazoo players, a color guard, majorettes, and an honor guard.

4^th Annual Five Points Festivus

Where:  Five Points in Columbia
When: 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Info: The Five Points Association brings you its 4^th Festivus celebration. The three-day event will feature a tour of 12 local bars and beer sampling on Friday all while airing your grievances. On Saturday, visit with local merchants and artists and enjoy some treats. Sunday wraps it all up with a trunk show and pictures with Santa.
