Bank of America and Merrill Lynch’s Museums on Us

Where:  EdVenture Children’s Museum
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday
Cost: Free for Bank of America/Merrill Lynch cardholders
Info: Bank of America is offering its cardholders free admission to EdVenture Children’s Museum in Columbia. Cost: Free to residents of Richland and Lexington counties with a valid ID

Reel Black Pix: Global Afrikan Film Series 

Where: See schedule for specific locations.
When: Starts Thursday at 6 p.m. with a Filmmakers Forum and screening at the TAPPs Arts Center, 1644 Main St., Columbia
Cost: Some events are free but check the schedule for specific information.
Info: HeTePu Productions presents the 4th Reel Black Pix: Global Afrikan Film Series, a Pan-African Film Festival held in honor of Black History Month. The series features films & videos by and or about African people from throughout the African Diaspora. Historic Columbia Foundation's Early Adventures program

Where:  1601 Richland Street, Columbia

Cost: $6 per child
Info: The Historic Columbia Foundation is celebrating more than 200 Years of African-American History in South Carolina. The program explores the accomplishments of African-Americans in South Carolina. The program is designed for private groups of 10 or more children ages 3-8 years old.
