Info: The Chapin Community Theatre presents "Rumors." This classic Neil Simon farce gets under way when the deputy mayor of New York shoots himself in his large, tastefully appointed townhouse.

Where: State Fairgrounds, 1200 Rosewood Drive, Columbia

When: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday

Cost: Admission is $6 per person. Kids age 14 and under are free. Friday is Senior Day; free admission to guests age 62 and older. Military: Free admission with valid military ID.

Info: The Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia (HBAGC) and Clyde Nettles Roofing present the 46thAnnual Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show at the SC State Fairgrounds. The show will feature more than 250 construction, home improvement, and outdoor products exhibits.

 

Columbia Marathon Health & Fitness Expo

Where: Columbia Convention Center, 1101 Lincoln Street, Columbia

When: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday

Cost: Free

Info: For two days, more than 50 exhibitors will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and much more. The 2012 Columbia Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10K will take place on Saturday. For more information, click here

 

Loading Dock Live!: Featuring the Finesse Band

Where: Township Auditorium, 1703 Taylor Street, Columbia

When: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today

Cost: Free

Info: The Township Foundation presents the first event in the new Loading Dock Live Series. This event features Columbia's own the Finesse Band performing live off the back dock of the building. Food  provided by Columbia's food trucks - 2 Fat 2 Fly, Alfresco Mobilista, and Pawley's Front Porch Truck.

 

Free Sundays at the Columbia Museum of Art

Where: Columbia Museum of Art, 1515 Main Street, Columbia

When: 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday

Cost: Free
