Thursday
Chapin High School Choirs perform "HONK!"
The Chapin High School Choirs will be performing the musical, HONK! on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Center for Advanced Technical Studies, 916 Mount Vernon Church Road in Chapin. Tickets, which may be purchased at the door, are $10 for adults and $5 for students 5 and up.

Starting today through Sunday, the Chapin Theatre Company will perform "Simply Divided" by Jeff Lovett. Shows start at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $16 for adults; $12 for students ages 13 and older, seniors and active military; $10 for children 12 and under. The Workshop Theatre brings "The Color Purple" to the Midlands. The play is based on the novel written by Alice Walker and the Warner Bros./Amblin Entertainment Motion Picture. Shows this weekend begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Seventh, eighth and honor bands at Irmo Middle School will perform two Spring concerts. The first concert will be in the school's gym at 7 p.m. Thursday. The second is at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Spring Art & Craft Market
Head over to Crooked Creek Park, 1098 Old Lexington Highway, Chapin, for the Spring Art & Craft Market. Shop for gifts, souvenirs, art, crafts and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
