Need to laugh after a long week of work? Head over to the Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College to see comedian James Gregory.

The Columbia Gem and Mineral Society is conducting its 45th Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show at Jamil Temple from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Santa at Columbiana Centre

It's that time of year again for pictures with Santa! Santa will arrive at 12 p.m. in the Belk Court area of the Columbiana Centre. Go early for some face painting, carolers and more at 11:30 a.m.

Lights Before Christmas

Riverbanks Zoo & Gardens' Lights Before Christmas kicks off Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. This family-friendly event features motion lights, hot cocoa, visits with Santa and more. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 3-12 if purchased in advanced. Tickets increase by $2 after 5 p.m. at the gate.
