Weekly
Explore the world of the butterfly at EdVenture Children's Museum. EdVenture's living exhibit is designed to showcase the lifespan of over 20 species of butterflies. The exhibit is filled with dozens of species of trees and plants that support hundreds of butterflies from more than 20 different species native to the Southeast. Admission is $3 per person in addition to musuem cost. Monday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m.; Sunday 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Thursday
Army Band Memorial Weekend Concert
The 282nd Army Band will perform today and Saturday at 7 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene. The event is free and will be held in the worship center.

Friday
Enjoy an irreverent, fast-paced romp through all of Shakespeare’s comedies, histories and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless with laughter. This event happens Saturday and Sunday. Tickets available at www.icrc.net or by calling 803-213-2025.

Family Fest & Memorial Day Tribute 2012
Head to Finlay Park on Sunday for this outdoor gospel celebration and Memorial Day tribute to veterans and active duty men and women. Artists scheduled to perform include Pastor John P. Kee and Myron Butler. Local and regional musicla acts will also perform. Event starts at 4 p.m.
Monday
Palmetto Concert Band Memorial Day Concert
Palmetto Concert Band presents "A Memorial Tribute" with conductors James Copenhaver, William Moody and Scott Weiss. The band will perform several musical selections including "Children's March" by Grainger, "American Civil War Fantasy" by Bilik, and "The Stars and Stripes Forever." This event is free to the public.
