Thursday
Columbia’s Greek Festival is back for its 26th annual event filled with live Greek Folk dancing, church tours, and all the souvlaki and spanakopita you can eat. The festival is located at the corner of Sumter and Calhoun streets in Columbia. The festival is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 12 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Friday
The is offering a free movie this Friday at 8 p.m. The film is "The Chronicles of Narnia." Admission is free.

High School Varsity Football

Saturday
Head over to for Community Day. A variety of displays from various law enforcement agencies including will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
Help keep our rivers clean by spending just a few hours with Keep the Midlands Beautiful at Riverbanks Zoo for River Sweep (lower Saluda River). The event is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring work gloves if you have them. Keep the Midlands Beautiful will provide trash bags, water and gloves.

Do you have an electronics you need to get rid of? Head over to Lexington on Saturday to recycle items such as printers, televisions or computers. The event is only open to Lexington County residents.
