Looking for something to do this Valentine's Day weekend? Here are five events that are going on in and around our area this weekend.

When: General festival hours: 1 to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Cost: Free with paid admission to Riverbanks Zoo and Garden
Info: Are Orchids your Valentine's favorite plant? Head over to Riverbanks Zoo and Garden for the 7th annual Orchids on the Riverbanks Festival. The zoo has partnered with the S.C. Orchid Society and Ikebana International Chapter 182 for this three-day event featuring vendors selling plants and programs on planting. Read more about the festival .

Tyler Perry's "The Haves & The Have Nots"
Where: Township Auditorium, 1703 Taylor Street, Columbia
When: 8 p.m. Friday; 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday;

Info: Tyler Perry's "The Haves & The Have Nots" stage play has made its way to Columbia. The play is described as a powerful story of love and honor. By the way, Tyler Perry will not be performing in the play.

When: Sunday; boarding at 12:30 p.m., cruise from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Info: Celebrate Valentine's Day early with a Sunday lunch cruise. A limited number of spots are available. Call 803-730-3044 for reservations. If you can't make the lunch, there's also a cruise on Valentine's.
Monster Jam
Where: Colonial Life Arena, 801 Lincoln Street, Columbia
When: 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday
Cost: $6 (Kids 2-12); $21 (Adults); $26 (Gold Circle); $41 (VIP)

When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
Cost: Adults: $8; Children 6-12 yrs old: $4; Students with College ID: $5; Military with Military ID: $5; Two Day Pass: $12 ($1 off one adult ticket when you bring 3 canned goods for Harvest Hope Food Bank)
