The Citizens for Sound Conservation has awarded Rep. Chip Huggins, R-Lexington, with the 2012 Peas and Carrots Legislative Award.
Huggins was given the award for Improving South Carolina’s Environmental and Economic Quality of Life.
According to a release, the award stresses "that the responsible usage of our air, land and water is paramount for the future prosperity of South Carolina."
