Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Upsilon Omega Omega Chapter is committed to bringing awareness to and supporting the fight against HIV/AIDS, Cancer, and Domestic Violence.
The “Still Standing Survivors Luncheon” was created to provide a venue to honor survivors and pay tribute to those who are no longer with us. Attendees wear their most fabulous pair of shoes and stand for a great cause!

The 3rd Annual Still Standing Luncheon will be held Saturday Oct. 13, at the Brookland Baptist Church Banquet & Conference Center located at 1066 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m.
This year’s focus is HIV/AIDS and Deadra Malloy, Project Coordinator for P.O.S.I.T.I.V.E (Proactive, Optimistic, Sisters, In Touch, Involved, Validated and Empowered) Voices, an advocacy arm of the SC HIV/AIDS Crisis Taskforce is the keynote speaker. There is a $40 donation for admission. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the South Carolina HIV/AIDS Council.
