Town of Irmo Seeks Representative on Transportation Penny Advisory Committee

The Town of Irmo is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Richland County Transportation Penny Advisory Committee.

This individual will be required to serve a 5-year term and meet with other committee members at least once each quarter.

Members will be required to provide the Irmo Town Council with quarterly reports. The committee's primary duties will include the review of the Transportation Penny with recommendations to the Richland County Council.

Priorities will be established to support the transportation modes (roadways; bike, pedestrian / greenways; and the Central Midlands Regional bus system).

Resumes for membership will be received until close of business on Nov. 13. The selection will be made at Irmo Town Council's next scheduled regular meeting on Nov. 20.
