Anna Miller to Lead Chapin Middle
Lexington-Richland 5 announces Chapin Middle School's new principal.

Anna Miller, assistant principal at Chapin Middle School, has been named the school's principal effective July 1.
“It is a tremendous honor to be the new principal of an outstanding school in such a wonderful community," Miller said in a release. "I look forward to working alongside the excellent and dedicated faculty and staff to continue the tradition of excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics for the talented students of Chapin Middle School. I am both thrilled and humbled.”
Miller replaces Dr. Michael Lofton who was named principal of the new high school under construction off Mt. Vernon Church Road.

She served as assistant principal of Chapin Middle since 2008. She served as a Language Arts teacher for 13 years before becoming an administrator and was the 2007-2008 Lexington-Richland 5 District Teacher of the Year.
Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts in English education from Columbia College and a Master of Education in education administration from the University of South Carolina.
