Annual Touch A Truck Scheduled for Saturday
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the State Farmers Market, 3483 Charleston Highway, West Columbia.

The Junior League of Columbia's 4th annual Touch A Truck event kicks off Saturday at the State Farmers Market.
The interactive event features more than 30 vehicles from antique military vehicles from the Military Vehicle Collectors of South Carolina and local fire trucks to cranes and construction equipment.
Touch A Truck will also feature Tractor Town, an agricultural and farm equipment display presented by Lexington County Farm-City. Guests will see antique tractors, haulers, and other equipment used to harvest crops.

This year's event is double the size of previous events, said Connelly-Anne Ragley, public relations chair for Junior League's Touch A Truck.
Ragley said Touch A Truck is a great opportunity for children of all ages to get an up close and personal look at their some of their favorite vehicles.

The event also includes demonstrations related to healthy eating, face painting and more.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the State Farmers Market, 3483 Charleston Highway, West Columbia.
Admission is $6 per person. Children under age 2 are admitted free with each adult ticket. Tickets for four are sold for $20.
Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at the gate.
