Attorney Reveals Details of Ascot Estates Shootings

An attorney representing Brett Parker has revealed new details of what happened on April 13, the day Parker's wife, Tammy Parker, and acquaintance, Bryan Capnerhurst, were shot and killed in the Parker's Ascot Estates home.

David Fedor said both Brett Parker and Capnerhurst were involved in a sports betting operation and that Brett Parker used his gun in self-defense, according to a report from WIS-TV.

Fedor said Capnerhurst, who was invited in to the home at 12 Tackeria Court in Irmo, had a gun that was given to him by Brett prior to the incident and that he shot and killed Tammy Parker. 

"At that point, Bryan ordered Brett to do 'something' and Brett went to the safe."

Fedor told WIS Brett Parker had a gun in the safe, which he said was used to shoot Capnerhurst.

Tammy Parker and Capnerhurst, of Batesburg-Leesville, were  of the Parker's home with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department have not of what happened on April 13.
